Another CIC Conference Report

There is an Inside Higher Ed report from the conference: http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2010/01/07/cic.  It captures well the tone and tenor of the conversations that have taken place in and outside of sessions here.  There was record attendance this year, despite tighter budgets, and I think its because everyone needed to be among colleagues for a reality-check, a sharing of ideas, and some general moral support. 

As the article makes clear, it was a tough year all over. 

Regarding the NY Times and my earlier comments, Ed Daniels offered the following:
