SNHU: A Great Place to Work Eleven Years Running

Posted on August 2, 2018

Eleven years ago, Southern New Hampshire University was named for the first time a “Great College to Work For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education. As you can imagine, or remember, it was a very proud moment for the SNHU community.

Last month, The Chronicle announced that SNHU made the list once again, making us one of only three institutions in the country to receive this distinction every year since its inception. We are also the only recipient from New Hampshire.

As one of the largest employers in the Granite State, we could not be more proud of this recognition. It is a testament to the great work our staff and faculty do every day to help our students reach new heights, and the culture we’ve built together here at SNHU.

This year, nearly two-thirds of our full-time staff and faculty provided feedback, and I was most inspired by their responses. The top three categories, you ask? Our employees believe SNHU actively contributes to the community in a positive way, feel supported by their colleagues and embraced for who they are as individuals, and understand how their job contributes to the University’s mission. I love this place.

I take great pride in this honor and am grateful to work with such a dedicated and student-focused group of colleagues. Our employees are truly what makes SNHU great, and this recognition is a direct reflection of the work we do collectively each and every day.

To all of our staff and faculty, thank you for your hard work and dedication to the University and our students, and for helping to make SNHU a great place to work and learn.
